The administration of payroll has become increasingly complex particularly with regards to tax and legislative reporting requirements. Many SMME’s currently delegate the payroll function to an in-house employee who does not have the necessary time or expertise to carry out this function or are paying exorbitant costs for their accountant to administer their payroll.

Costs such as payroll software purchases, annual payroll licence updates, software updates, and employment of payroll administrators for a few days a month are eliminated. BDM Training has installed the Softline VIP Classic Payroll software. The benefit of utilising VIP is that it has been developed for the South African tax and employment environment. VIP regularly provides updates to their payroll system when tax or labour legislation changes, therefore always ensuring tax and legislative compliance.
